Overview
The Leisure Sports study program is both relevant and unique: the study subjects are oriented towards the development of specific physical activities in the coastal area, utilizing the resources of the beach and the Baltic Sea. The study program includes a Pedagogical studies module of 60 study credits for obtaining a teacher’s qualification. Students are obliged to choose one of three specializations: Basketball, Football or Leisure sports specialization, all of which are prepared and implemented with Lithuanian and foreign social partners. This ensures the implementation of the latest educational technologies in the study process.
- BASKETBALL specialization: Basketball coach qualification The basketball specialization has been developed and will be implemented in cooperation with the Lithuanian Basketball Federation (LBF) and International Basketball University (IBU).
- FOOTBALL specialization In this programme, we share the methodological proposal used and developed within FC Barcelona.
- SPORT DANCES specialization
Career opportunities
Graduates will acquire a bachelor’s degree in sports and physical education teacher’s professional qualification. Graduates will be able to work as coaches in basketball clubs, sports and fitness specialists at sports and health centers, social organizations, public and private sports organizations, and as teachers in public and private schools.
